Cargill has reached an agreement to acquire Integral Animal Nutrition, a cattle feed producer in Brazil. The acquisition will help the company further develop its Free Choice Mineral and premix capabilities to better serve customers in the central and western regions of the country. The transaction is expected to be completed within the next few months, depending on the regulatory approval of the Economic Defense Administration (CADE).
Cargill is committed to providing high-quality animal nutrition solutions for the beef industry and improving production efficiency. This acquisition will make full use of the capabilities of the two companies to better serve customers seeking more important minerals and premixes.

According to the agreement, Cargill will purchase 100% of Integral’s assets, including a production plant in Goianila, Goiás, Brazil, a product portfolio from free choice of minerals to premixes, approximately 100 employees and 80 million reais ( 25 USD) of net income in millions of USD) per year.
