Description:
The product is a broad-spectrum, high-performance and low-toxicity anthelmintic agent belonging to mac-rocyclic lactone antibiotics and has favorable killing effect on various bovine or ovine nematodes such as Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus, Columbia nodular worms, radial nodular worms, fourth-stage larvae and Parafilaria bovicola; various equine roundworms, eelworms, pinworms,Habronema and microfilaria; canine hookworms, eelworms,pinworms, and heart-worms; poultry roundworms,capillary nematodes and heterakids; and also bovine and ovineectopara-sites such as ticks, burrowing mites, scabmites, warbles,nasalflies, ear tsutsugamushi, crab lice, sucking lice, palatum lice, etc. However, it has no effcet on tapeworms and Distoma pulmonala.
Indications:
Antibiotic to kill and control eelworm,inspects and acarus in Cattle,horses,goats,sheeps and more.
It can be used to control and prevent gastrointestinal track eelworm and lung eelworm in livestock and poultry and fly maggot,acarus,louse,and other parasites outside body.
Side effects:
Musculoskeletal pains, oedema of the face or extremities, itching and papular rash
Dosage and Administration:
The veterinary medicinal product should be given orally, The recommended dose rate is 0.2 mg ivermectin per kg bodyweight (corresponding to 2.5 ml per 10 kg bodyweight). Over 60 kg give 2.5 ml per 10 kg bodyweight
Mode of Action:
Ivermectin paralyzed and ultimately kill parasitic nematodes,arachnids and insects by a unique effect on the nervous systems of these parasites.At therapeutic doses,ivermectin is well tolerated by livestock since it does not readily penetrate the central nervous system.
Precautions:
1.Cattle and sheep must not be treated within 21 days of slaughter for human consumption;camels must not be treated within 28 days of slaughter for human
consumption.
2.This product is not to be used intravenously or intramuscularly.
