What is Doxycycline hydrochloride?Doxycycline hydrochloride is yellow crystalline powder. Doxycycline hydrochloride is odorless, bitter, hygroscopic, easily soluble in water and methanol, and slightly soluble in ethanol and acetone. This product has a broad antibiotic spectrum and is effective against Gram-positive cocci and negative bacilli. The antibiotic effect is about 10 times stronger than tetracycline, and it is still effective against tetracycline-resistant bacteria. Mainly used for respiratory tract infections, chronic bronchitis, pneumonia and urinary tract infections, etc., but also for macula, typhoid fever, and mycoplasma pneumonia.

Doxycycline is antibiotic medicine, tetracycline drugs, treatment for chlamydia mycoplasma infection. Its character is yellow or pale yellow crystalline powder, odor, taste bitter. Easily dissolved in water and methanol, slightly soluble in ethanol or acetone, insoluble in chloroform.

Application Field
Usage: Broad spectrum antibiotic
(1) Rickettsia, including epidemic typhus, endemic typhus, Rocky Mountain fever, tsutsugamushi
and Q fever.
(2) Mycoplasma infection.
(3) Chlamydia infections, including psittacosis, venereal disease, lymphoma, nonspecific urethritis, salpingitis, cervicitis and trachoma.
(4) Regression fever.
(5) Brucellosis.
(6) Cholera.
(7) Tularemia.
(8) Plague.
(9) Chancroid.
B.Due to the serious drug resistance of common pathogenic bacteria to this product, only when the pathogen is sensitive to this product, it can be used as a drug of choice: Escherichia coli, Enterobacter aerogenes, Acinetobacter lophi, Shiga sensitive to this product Gram-negative bacilli infections such as bacterium, Haemophilus influenzae
